I worked n the healthfield for 20 + years from 1981 to 2003, as a cna worked n a nursing home for 19 yrs. then worked Homehealth and the last job I held was a Rehab tech, these jobs were held n Louisiana. I moved to Ks. n 03 wanted to try something new then went into retail and didn't renew my cna license, and I regret that to this day, because that was my passion, I enjoyed taking care of others and it wasn't because of the pay because whan I started out in the field cna's salaries were nothing like todays salary. I'm thinking strongly about recertifying.
i also need information on getting recertified in cna,its been a few years,is there a dead line for getting recertified?
