CNA training in Charlotte is available at the American Academy of Healthcare, which has a nursing assistant I and II course to develop in-demand professionals in the area of direct patient care. The Nursing Assistant I course is 115 hours, which is a combination of classroom instruction and practical training. Completion of this course will more than exceed the requirements of the North Carolina Nurse Aide I Registry. If you want to further pursue training and gain additional skills, take the 160-hour Nurse Assistant II course. Like the NA1 course, graduates more than exceed the requirements to qualify for the Nurse Aide II Registry. Caregivers Institute also has two certified nursing assistant programs for entry level and advance students. The Nurse Aide 1 course takes five weeks to complete and is a 100 hour course. Its Nurse Aide 2 course takes seven weeks to complete. The last two weeks are devoted to clinicals, which run eight hours per day. It is a 160-hour course.
