CNA training in New Jersey is available through various state approved community colleges and nursing schools. The Lincoln Technical Institute offers Nursing and Medical Assistant programs in their 3 campuses, while the Everest Institute, Anthem Institute and Fortis Institute offer Medical Assistant programs which are all regulated by the Department of Health and Senior Services. Certification tests in New Jersey are administered by Pearson Vue. All training programs will combine classroom hours as well as lab and internship training of at least one hundred hours under the supervision of registered, experienced nurses.
